iXtreme LT To Be Released Shortly
[QUOTE]
We have supported C4E and Team Jungle for some time now and it is so ridiculous to us when we see so much garbage and drama being posted around on different forums. First we see some sites trying to sell iXtreme LT for stupid amounts of money, then the price goes in half then it doubles then it shows as out of stock? Then of course everyone bitches about C4E even though this wasn't his idea and these guys also forget that the iXtreme firmwares are his work and no one else's - he owes nothing to no one. He should be lauded with credits and support not with bitching and whining, I'm surprised he even bothers any more but we also know how much he loves to do this work. It really is pathetic to see some fools post crap like that, but i guess the console scene never changes does it.
Now we see attempts at "cracking" a pre-release demo version of the LT firmware and people trying to gain credits and "pats on the back" for this work. All we can say is - we've looked at both firmwares - the real Lt and the leaked one. Take our advise - don't use the leaked incomplete version and connect to Xbox Live.
We developed bios's for many years and know how much time and effort it takes to do this kind of work - we fully support C4E in all the work he does and as members of the scene we thank him for it.
Anyway the guys at Team Jungle have updated their Twitter page with this info:
"iXtreme LT will release shortly as promised. Unofficial files are incomplete and unsafe. Protection was to prevent unofficial use!"

PSP Firmware 6.20 Exploit? Works on all PSP Models!?
From PSPhacks Say it ain’t so… Watch this:
Could it be? I guess we’ll find out in the next day or two. There’s no doubt that is indeed firmware 6.20… But, I’m a skeptic with good reason. My bet: it’s just a silly image with a black background and green “Hello World” text. Please, oh please — prove me wrong. File this under pure PSP speculation for now

This firmware is a good option for Benq Drive Owners that do not play on Xbox live and don't want to keep having to update their firmware. This firmware doesn't do all the checks that previous firmware does thereby enabling you to play wave 4 and all future wave games, also the ability to play Xbox 1 games.

First things first, Halo 3 ODST shows the events of Halo 3 through the eyes of an ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper). You are no longer a 7ft tall Spartan Super soldier, rather you’re one of the little humans you discarded once upon a time while playing as Masterchief. Boo hoo! Enemies that were once tiny in the eyes of Masterchief are now big obstacles for you to overcome and enemies which were big even for Masterchief are now Epic and take some strategic game play to get around
If you liked Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST may come as a tad of a disappointment at first. Of course, you soon realise that you’re no Masterchief and you can’t just go in and take on your enemies’ commando style. No more guns blazing, the trick is to play stealthy. Game play is obviously different and that takes some getting used to, but that aside. You will thoroughly enjoy playing as one of the little guys only if you don’t die that often (as with all games) and you learn how to flank the enemy.
There’s a big jump from Easy to Casual and if you aren’t an expert gaming gunsman then we would suggest you ‘practice’ on Easy first before you choose to take on the biggies on Casual. What made this essentially different to Halo 3 game play was the ODST health which doesn’t regenerate like Masterchiefs or the Arbitors. You have some sort of force field which does help but not enough, because when you sustain damage that part of your health, it is down until you acquire a health pack, which are scattered throughout the game. The ODST helmet comes in very handy when there are dark places which are helpfully underlined in light and because the majority of the game is lacking in brightness and it is pretty awesome when you can just hit the X button and yay! You’re not blind anymore. The ODST visor also outlines enemies in red and friendlies in green which assists you throughout the game in many ways you thought impossible.
Overall this game would get an 8.5 out of 10 from Modz4Gamers as we feel that although it was an awesome game, there could be areas which could be improved on. The concept is ingenious but you would think that the reason why we all play Halo is to become Masterchief. We know that the Halo series is a multi-layered and very complicated game series, however we can’t get past the fact that we aren’t playing as Masterchief and although the game play took a bit of getting used to, it was fun however not as gripping as Halo 3. Now, waiting on Halo 4.
Ghostbusters The Video Game
It's good. If you're a fan of Ghostbusters (and maybe even Ghostbusters 2), that's all you needed to know, so you can go out and grab your copy without worrying that you'll have to tread through bad game mechanics just to get a few good laughs. If for some reason you're a newcomer to the franchise, that's OK too. Ghostbusters The Video Game is a humorous and amusing third-person action-adventure with some clever mechanics and loads of personality. It's not all pleasurable, due to some tedious mechanics and other issues, but if what's most important to you is some lighthearted fun, then you'll find enough in this package to keep a smile on your face. Mafia 2
Fans of the 2002 PC game Mafia agree that the game never got its due. It was an open-world mob drama with third-person action, driving, an outstanding soundtrack, and a memorable story (and a not-as-fondly-memorable frustrating car race that was later corrected with a patch). But 2K Czech and 2K Games are gearing up for Mafia II, a sequel to the unappreciated crime drama with a new look, enhanced engine, better driving, deadlier shootouts, and a brand-new story. We had a chance to see the game up close and personal, and we have much to report. Click for more on Mafia 2
Ninja Blade
When an action game lets you dress up in pink pinstripes before carving up hordes of gruesome mutants, you know it doesn't take itself seriously. Ninja Blade is such a game, but it's so ridiculously over the top, so rambunctiously insane, that it's hard not to get a total kick out of it. It's an uneven game, both technically inconsistent and derivative to the bone. And yet Ninja Blade maintains a breakneck pace while throwing you into one preposterous scenario after another until you need to catch your breath, simply because the onscreen action is so absurdly and graphically dazzling--or because you're laughing so hard you've almost peed yourself. So don't expect deep combat, extreme visual prowess, or a finger-breaking challenge. Instead, just prepare for a bunch of good, frivolous fun that will keep you entertained in spite of some noticeable flaws. The combat is not that deep in this game, however it does have great visuals including flashy sword play. There are some great battles to keep you satisfied in this game aswell.. Devil May Cry meets Ninja Gaidens cross Dressing Brother.
Resident Evil 5
Thirteen years ago, Capcom helped revolutionize the action-adventure world with Resident Evil, a game that would define an entirely new genre dubbed "survival horror." In the years that followed, the series continued to build upon the standards set by the first game, until 2005, when Resident Evil 4 radically departed from its predecessors and broke new ground as a more action-oriented game. Resident Evil 5, the latest offering in the long-running series, expands on the action-heavy formula of its forerunner and is built from the ground up to support cooperative gameplay. Though it can no longer be considered a survival horror game, Resident Evil 5 manages to retain and effectively translate the most important aspect of that genre--tension--into its new mechanics, crafting a fun, collaborative experience that will keep you on your toes the entire time.
